1 Corinthians 2:1-2 I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom… For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.
It’s very encouraging to realise that even the great Apostle Paul was not always confident about ministry. In fact, this is an occasion where he thought not having all the answers, and keeping his message simple was a good thing!
You don’t have to know all the answers either while you are caring for people. You don’t have to answer a question just because one is asked. What a relief!
Instead, like Paul, be determined to know nothing except Jesus. The power of His death and resurrection proves that He has the answer for anything and everything.
Keep pointing people back to faith in Jesus. Listen to them, and then pray with them and turn them to Jesus.
It is the greatest thing you can do for “your” people.
